Is it any wonder I ended up writing?

Raised on The Outer Limits, The Twilight Zone, and Star Trek for TV, Ray Bradbury, Isaac Asimov, and JRR Tolkien for books.

Wrote my first novel at the age of 9, and never looked back.

I march old-school drum and bugle corps and am a member of the NJ Drum Corps Hall of Fame. I majored in French, got a preacher's certification, and worked in youth ministry and music ministry. Got some serious gourmet game as well. Happily married in Haddonfield, NJ, to a guy
I met in 5th grade and have been with for 50 years. My two sons married wonderful women who are truly my daughters, and I have two grandchildren who are the joy of my life. I own two chowchows--Lt. Kije and Corbin--rescued from the ChowChow Rescue of Central New York.
I've been writing speculative fiction since I was nine years old, usually in very small doses. I've been published in Flashshots Daily Genre Microfiction, Eternity Online, The Fortean Bureau, Silver Blade, and The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction.

My short story Czesko was given honorable mention in Gardner Dozois' Year's Best Science Fiction and Fantasy.

I was a member of the celebrated nameless writers workshop in Philadelphia and the Bucks County Writers Workshop.

I've been freelance line-editing and copy-editing for over thirty years. I'm currently Assistant Fiction Editor at Abyss&Apex Magazine.

I'm an associate member of SFWA, an affiliate member of HWA, and a member of Broad Universe. I also work with Strong Women—Strange Worlds First Friday—Third Thursday Virtual Quick Reads, for which I edit videos of wonderful authors. Find us on YouTube.
